Frequently asked questions
Will the repair be visible after refinishing?
On 95% of repairs we do across Weymouth, Quincy, and Hingham, the patch is invisible after refinishing. Mismatched grain or color is something we discuss honestly at the estimate.
Can you repair water damage from a dishwasher or ice dam?
Yes — provided the subfloor isn't structurally compromised. We dry, replace damaged boards, sand, and refinish the affected area.
How are pet stains repaired?
Light surface stains sand out. Deep black urine stains either bleach (oxalic acid), color-blend, or require board replacement. We'll tell you which approach fits your floor.
Do you fix squeaky floors?
Yes — usually from above with hidden trim screws and matched wood plugs. If access from below is possible (basement), we shim and screw the subfloor directly.
